Meditation and Mindfulness

Meditation and Mindfulness Meditation, is taking the world by storm.

There are 1000’s of scientific studies on the subject, which are showing that Meditation and Mindfulness is good for us, and, as a result, can benefit us in many ways, including:

  • Greater focus
  • Improved health
  • Decreased anxiety, depression and irritability
  • More fulfilling relationships
  • Increased mental and physical stamina
  • Better sleep patterns
  • Even protects the brain from some of the effects of ageing

Businesses are recognising that incorporating a mindful attitude enables them to be more focused, productive and better at their jobs. Schools are bringing mindfulness training into the curriculum. In summary, this enables children to manage stress better. It also helps them to be more attentive and develop better relationships. Equally, Business and Life Coaches are using mindfulness coaching to help clients better manage their anxiety, depression and life traumas.

Neuroscience and Mindfulness Research are working together. Consequently, Mindfulness education is being incorporated into medicine and psychiatry, with amazing results. In addition, hospitals are incorporating Mindfulness Based Stress Relief (MBSR) programmes to help patients manage things like anxiety, depression and chronic pain.

Above all, Mindfulness meditation, once considered alternative, is increasingly available and recommended by medical professionals.

I have been practising and teaching meditation for several years. Additionally, I use guided meditation in my one-to-one coaching sessions, where appropriate. As a result, the outcome has been hugely beneficial, enabling clients to manage their stress better, and overcome obstacles.
